A true Canadian stone, this teal coloured amazonite cabochon was cut and polished in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, from rough collected in the Abitibi region of Québec by fellow Canadian rockhound Jacob Stanaszek.
This cabochon has been stabilized to enhance the durability of the stone, but still suffered a bit of surface plucking in areas and has been discounted accordingly.
