This dallasite cabochon is cut here in Canada, from material collected by Lauren from Laurens_Rock_Shop (Instagram), on the shores of Vancouver Island. The stone showcases what I like to call "micro dallasite" patterning, which is arguably more suitable, delicate pattern I prefer to use for cabochons, as it showcases the variations in colours that this material exhibits, over a smaller area more effectively.
To ensure versatile setting options, and to make the cabochon suitable for wirewrap projects, the back of this cabochon is also polished.
