This high-dome, mossy-dendritic agate was cut from rough agate self collected from Fife Lake, Saskatchewan. The mossy bits are white in color, while small dark spheres occur as faint shadowy outline, boarding the mossy section adding a sense of depth and dimension to the cabochon.
The cabochon weighs 17.50 CT and measures approximately 22.0 x 11.50 x 8.00 mm.
This material appears to be similar to Madison Blue Agate, which is found in Montana, so it's plausible it was transported from that region by the last glaciation.
