This small, beautiful spessartine garnet specimen was self-collected from the Revelstoke region of British Columbia.
This material comes from a high alpine occurrence originally discovered by the late Canadian prospector Herb Hyder. The claim is now owned by Rock Rush, and the material was gathered with permission.
This specimen is a single, twinned, lustrous cognac-orange garnet crystal with a tall, elongated geometry. This stone lacks a flat back, making traditional setting more challenging; a custom or crafty basket setting can easily accommodate its unique shape.
Weight: 3.90 CT
Dimensions: 10 × 7 × 6.5 mm
This specimen ships in a small gem box to keep it protected.
