Spessartine Garnet Specimen, 12 x 10 mm, from British Columbia, Canada

This small, beautiful spessartine garnet specimen was self-collected from the Revelstoke region of British Columbia. This material comes from a high alpine occurrence originally discovered by the late Canadian prospector Herb Hyder, who was a great friend and inspiration to me. The claim is now owned by Rock Rush, and the material was gathered with permission.

This specimen features a small cluster of lustrous cognac orange garnet crystals, without much matrix, making for a clean, sparkly little specimen.

Weight: 1.82 grams
Dimensions: 12 × 10 mm, oval-roundish in shape

This specimen ships in a small specimen jar to keep it protected.
