Spessartine Garnet Specimen, 8 x 6 mm, from British Columbia, Canada

This small, beautiful spessartine garnet specimen was self-collected from the Revelstoke region of British Columbia. This material comes from a high alpine occurrence originally discovered by the late Canadian prospector Herb Hyder, who was a great friend of mine. The claim is now owned by Rock Rush, and the material was gathered with permission.

This specimen features a small cluster of lustrous cognac orange garnet crystals with shiny faces on matrix, making for a sparkly little micro specimen.

Weight: 0.80 grams
